The Beaver River and several lakes in the Tushar Mountains provide ideal trout fishing. In addition, Minersville Lake, located between Beaver and Minersville is a well recognized sport fishery within the State of Utah.

If you live in Beaver, excellent trout fishing can be right out your back door. Further up in the Tushar Mountains are several lakes stocked annually by the Utah Department of Natural Resources. Additional more secluded fishing can be found along tributaries to the Beaver River.

Little Reservoir, approximately eight miles east of Beaver is home to a small population of huge German Brown Trout. For the experienced angler, it is possible to land fish larger than 10 pounds.

The whole of Beaver County is filled with all kinds of western wildlife, including mule deer, elk, mountain lions, bobcats, mourning doves, wild turkeys, mountain goats and migratory waterfowls during certain times of year.

Golf Courses
