Transportation

Beaver County is easily the most important transportation hub in southwest Utah.  The county is transected by Interstate 15 and the Union Pacific Railroad.  The western terminus of Interstate 70 is located in Beaver County.  Following are key facts to consider: 

1.  Beaver County is halfway between Salt Lake City, UT and Las Vegas, NV.

2.  Beaver County is halfway between Denver and Los Angeles.

3.  The city of Beaver is 20 miles south of the the western terminus of I-70

4.  The city of Milford is the primary crew change point for the Union Pacific Railroad for all trains moving between Salt Lake and Los Angeles.  Service at the Milford yard of UPRR is excellent for business located near there.

5.  Milford occupies a strategic location for primary switching of trains moving from the Las Vegas area.

Beaver County is home to two airports at Beaver and one Milford.

Commercial Air Service

The Beaver County area is served by the Cedar City (CDC 54 miles south) and St. George (SGU 100 miles south) airports.  SkyWest Delta Connection currently offers two flights daily to and from Salt Lake City from Cedar City.  SkyWest Delta Connection currently offers six non-stop flights daily to and from Salt Lake City from St. George.  SkyWest United Connection also offers two non-stop flights daily to and from LAX from St. George.

Overnight Package Delivery

Beaver County is well served by United Parcel Service for both delivery and pickup.  Fed-Ex and Airborne Express also service Beaver County.
